According to the motto “Escape from everyday life – straight into the colourful variety of the world of Rila”, we offer you enjoyable and varied arrangements. Enjoy “Rila erleben” in its astonishing variety. Thanks to our unique offering, we are your starting point for group tours, company outings, associations and businesses, or simply for a social gathering.

Regardless of whether you arrive independently by car, motorbike or bicycle, or perhaps in a group on the bus, we are always easy to get to. There are plenty of free parking options, even for buses.

Go on your individual journey through the Rila worlds and put together an arrangement from the following offerings:

  • Tour through the sensory gardens (30 – 45 minutes) – Experience a Japanese tea house, winding brooks, the Italian garden made from original tufa, or the Greek amphitheatre across more than 4,000 m2. More than 500 different plant varieties accompany you on your journey.
  • Coffee and cakes or a savoury platter in the Rotondo restaurant – Enjoy our exquisite selection of dishes and the panoramic view of the East Westphalian landscape.
  • Our film “Welcome to Rila” – Accompany the owners, the Richter family, on a global shopping trip, follow the olive’s path from cultivation to the supermarket, and learn about production operations in Greece, Hamburg and Chile.
  • You then have the opportunity to go shopping in our Rila delicacies store. Here, you can sample, find out about, and explore more than 1001 products from the Rila worlds.

Arrangements can be booked any day from Tuesday to Friday for 25 or more people. The duration varies between 2.5 and 3 hours. It’s not far to a remarkable experience!

Our restaurants

The elegant, circular “Rotondo” panoramic restaurant with a view of the Wiehengebirge and the sensory gardens beckons with a wide range of arrangements and insights into the open kitchen. With cookery courses in the large show kitchen and brunch buffets, good taste is guaranteed for every connoisseur.

The cosy “Cafayate” tapas bar in the vaulted cellar surrounded by natural stone and plenty of delicacies, convinces with Spanish comfort. Here, all guests are hosted and indulged with a large selection of wine, Spanish tapas, and Mediterranean dishes from September to April.

Greek flair and a unique view over the pond areas remind you of your last holiday. In the “Asteraki Moy” taverna, exclusive specialities are served from the Mediterranean summer kitchen from May to August.

Built from Italian tufa, the “La Pergola” wine pavilion captivates surrounded by vines and palm trees, thanks to its green feeling in the open air and the short path to the Mediterranean summer kitchen.
