Purposes of data processing by the data controller and third party
We only process your personal data for the purposes indicated in this Data Privacy Declaration. We do not transmit your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those indicated. We only transmit your personal data to third parties if:

  • you have granted your express consent for us to do so,
  • the processing is necessary to carry out an agreement with you,
  • the processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation,

the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest and there is no reason to assume that you have a protected interest in not providing your data that would outweigh our own interest.

Deletion or blockage of data

Therefore, we only save your personal data as long as necessary to achieve the purposes indicated here, or as long as indicated in the various retention periods specified by law. After the applicable purpose no longer applies, or after the end of these periods, such data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the law.

Collection of general information when you visit our website
When you access our website, general information is gathered automatically via cookies. This information (server log files) includes, for instance, the type of web browser you are using, your operating system, the domain name of your internet service provider, and similar types of information. None of this information allows us to identify you personally.
This information is technically required to correctly deliver the website content you request, and is always collected whenever you use the internet. This data is processed, in particular, for the following purposes:
Ensuring smooth creation of the website connection,

  • Ensuring seamless use of the website,
  • Evaluating system security and stability, and
  • For other administrative purposes.

We process your personal data based on our legitimate interest in the above purposes of data collection. We do not use your data to identify you personally. The only entities that receive data are the data controller and any contract data processors we engage.
We may statistically evaluate anonymous information of this type to optimize our web services and the technology on which they are based.

SSL encryption
We use encryption processes based on state of the art technology to protect the security of your data during processing (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Newsletter
If you expressly grant your consent to receive it, we will regularly send you our newsletter or comparable information via e-mail to the e-mail address you provide.
Only your name and e-mail address are required to receive the newsletter. When you register to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will only be used for this purpose. Subscribers can also be informed via e-mail of circumstances relevant to the service or the registration (such as changes to the newsletter service or technical features).
We require a name and valid e-mail address for an active registration. We use a “double opt-in” process to ensure that registrations were actually submitted by the e-mail address holder. For this purpose, we log the newsletter request, the delivery of a confirmation e-mail, and the receipt of the requested answer. No further data is collected. Data is used exclusively to deliver the newsletter, and is not provided to third parties.
You can revoke your consent to have your personal data saved and used to deliver the newsletter at any time. Each newsletter also includes a link to revoke said consent. In addition, you can also unsubscribe directly from this website at any time or send us a request to unsubscribe using the contact details provided at the end of this Data Privacy Notice.

Contact form
If you contact us via e-mail or using the contact form with questions of any kind, you grant us your voluntary consent to be contacted. You must provide your name and a valid e-mail address for us to contact you. We will use this information to classify your inquiry and our subsequent answer. Providing further data is optional. The information you provide will be saved to process your inquiry and for any follow-up questions. After we have handled your inquiry, your personal data will be deleted automatically.

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Incl (hereinafter referred to as: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” which are text files saved on your computer that make it possible for us to analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie on your use of this website is typically transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there. Because IP anonymisation is active on these websites, however, Google will abbreviate your IP address first within a member state of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website, to evaluate your use of the website, generate reports on website activities, and provide further services related to website usage and internet usage for the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser under Google Analytics is not combined with other data in Google's possession.
The purposes of data processing include evaluating use of the website and generating reports regarding activity on the website. Further associated services will then be provided based on the user’s use of the website and the internet. Processing is carried out based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.
You can prevent cookies from being saved by changing the settings in your browser software; however, we would like to note that if you do so, you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent transmission of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google and processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: Browser add on for deactivating Google Analytics.

In addition to, or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our website by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will be installed on your device. This will prevent data collection by Google Analytics for this website and this browser in the future for as long as the cookie remains installed on your browser.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)
To display our content correctly and in a graphically appealing manner across different browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts on this website (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transmitted to your browser cache to avoid having to load them multiple times. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, the content will be displayed in a standard font.

Accessing script libraries or font libraries will automatically create a connection to the operator of the library. Theoretically, it is possible – although currently it is not clear whether and to what extent, if so – the operators of such libraries collect data.
The Google data privacy guidelines are available here: www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When you use Google Maps, Google will collect, process, and use data on visitors’ use of the map function. Further information on data processing by Google is available from the Google Data Privacy Notice. You can change your personal data privacy settings there in the data privacy centre.

Full instructions on managing your own data when using Google products are available here.

Embedded YouTube videos
We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of these plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with a YouTube plug-in, a connection is created to YouTube servers. YouTube is informed of which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
If a YouTube video launches, the provider uses cookies to collect information on your user behaviour.
If you have deactivated cookies for the Google ad program, no such cookies will be saved when you watch YouTube videos either. However, YouTube saves non-personal usage information in other cookies as well. If you want to prevent it from doing so, you must block cookies from being saved in your browser.
Further information on data privacy at “YouTube” is available from the provider’s Data Privacy Declaration at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Google AdWords
Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you access our website through a Google ad, Google Adwords will save a cookie on your computer. The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies become invalid after 30 days, and cannot be used to personally identify you. If the user accesses certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user clicked the ad and accessed this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a unique cookie. This means cookies cannot be tracked through different websites visited by AdWords customers. The information obtained through the conversion cookies is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who clicked their ad and were sent to a page marked with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that could be used to personally identify users.
If you do not want to take part in tracking, you can deny that cookies required for tracking be saved, for instance by changing your browser settings so as to deactivate cookies in general, or changing your settings to block cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com”.
Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies for as long as you want to opt out of recording the measured data. If you have deleted all of the cookies in your browser, you will have to save the opt-out cookie once again.

Amendments to the data privacy provisions
We reserve the right to amend this Data Privacy Declaration so that it always fulfils current legal requirements, or to implement changes to our operations in the Data Privacy Declaration, for instance if we introduce new services. The new Data Privacy Declaration will then apply when you visit our page once again.
